What is landscape photography?

Landscape photography is the technique of capturing images of nature which bring the viewer into the scene. 

Throughout landscape photography, I always try to demonstrate the connection to nature and capture the essence of the environment.

When we see a landscape, our eyes travel over it and focus on the appealing elements in that scene.

Our field of vision includes a great deal of these scenes but our eyes and brain can often ignore everything except the fascinating details.

Modern camera lenses and sensors or film unfortunately cannot replay that moment by themselves.

We sometimes need to use editing software to recreate it as we have seen it or create something entirely new to draw you back into that perfect moment.

Time is the most important thing in taking good landscape pictures. 

Once I reach a place that I've never visited before, I spend some time taking it all in.

The key is to be patient, look around and see what draws me in and always make sure my batteries are charged.
